Private lodging!

Siha has a large network of private landlords in Harstad. We keep a current list of available rooms and flats in Harstad at all times. Some of our landlords have rented out to students for years!  

As an international student, we will help find a student flat or a room for you privately by contacting private landlords (provided you have not been granted a student home from us already). 

The standard varies - and so does the price. You can not expect internet connections or cable TV in all private rooms and flats and the price is nearly always directly related to the standard of the property and its proximity to town. 

When you apply to us please indicate, in order of preferance what is most important for you, whether it be living standard, proximity to the school/town centre or price. An apartment of high standard that is close to town and that has internet access for example is probably going to be more expensive than housing that is a little further out of town or that is a little older. Everything is relative.
