Get the best possible start to your studies:
The Department of Academic Affairs, ICT services and the library have produced a tuition pack for new students, "Digital tools". This pack contains information and guidance in the use of the student portal and student web, the e-learning system (LMS) Fronter and the library's search tool BIBSYS Ask. The tuition is scheduled during the start of the programme of study. In addition, you will be followed up with sessions on searching for articles in our databases. We can also provide guidance and instruction on request.
In 2005, the Harstad University College Library initiated a collaboration project on information literacy: "Fra lærerstyrt pensum til studentvalgte kunnskapskilder" (From teacher-controlled syllabus to student-chosen knowledge sources).
